How does the WaterBuddy Grey Water Diverter System work?
When valuable grey water is diverted into the WaterBuddy system which can be either a passive flow system using gravity without using electricity, or pumped depending on where the water is being diverted according to each customers needs. If a pump is needed, the intelligent energy-efficient pump is activated, pumping the water to the required location.
The WaterBuddy level detecting submersible pump is a revolution in grey water systems and eliminates all of the disadvantages of other diverter systems with pumps.
The WaterBuddy pump does not use, or need – a float – conductively sensors, or- timer – so maintenance and the risk of failure is greatly reduced. The pump is able to empty the surge tank down to a level of 5mm.
The WaterBuddy simply has the best filtration system of any grey water diverter system on the market. The more you understand it the better value it becomes.
The WaterBuddy uses the Matala® 3D Progressive multi-stage filtration, already proven in over 40 countries. It’s able to handle many tens of thousands of gallons of grey water without cleaning, something no other diverter system on the market can handle. The progressive filters can be easily removed for cleaning by the owner.

During extended periods without use, fully clean out tank and store empty and dry.

The use of air-borne type sprinklers are not allowed in most locations and are considered a Health hazard. We can advise you on sub-surface irrigation.
